At my anatomy ultrasound today the tech told me I have a really short cervix (2.53 cm) & that I'd have to get something inserted in to make it longer. She informed my doctor right away and he told me that instead of getting the insert I would be put on vaginal progesterone. He explained what it was and everything, but not in the amount of detail I wanted. Like, how it feels and people's experiences with it. He gave me the important stuff. So I thought I'd ask you guys about it!! Anyone else have a short cervix & been put on this stuff as well? What were your experiences with it? Was your baby okay? Did it prevent preterm labor?
