Missed period

I’m 17, and on birth control. I currently missed a whole pack other than 5 pills. I’m 5 days late on my period. Any chance my period is just extremely messed up or could I be pregnant? The tests I’ve taken in the past are always negative so I’m just scared to get my hopes up. I want a baby, and I know I’m young but it’s always been a dream of mine to be a mother.
