When to start taking prenatal vitamins?

I originally planned to have an abortion(don’t hate on me you have no idea what I went through mentally) but I got to the parking lot and I just couldn’t do it. 
Since I planned on the abortion I didn’t take prenatals. My LMP was March 1st. That puts me at 8 weeks tomorrow. I’ve read that people who don’t find out until like 10-12 weeks and their babies were fine.. I’m worried I might’ve caused something to be wrong with it

I didn't realize I was pregnant until 6 weeks. Wasn't taking prenatals and was still smoking & drinking. 😬🤷 A lot of women just don't know that early. 
Your baby is just fine. Just start taking them now & congratulations mama! ❤️❤️

Honestly all the prenatals do is makes sure you are getting the vitamins you need for baby. It doesn't hurt to not take them it's just highly suggested since baby sucks your nutrients away

You’re fine I took them sparingly with my first and this pregnancy as well both m toddler and baby currently baking are perfectly healthy
