Piercing babies ears???..

I'm fairly certain I'm going to do it, I had mine pierced as a baby and am glad I didn't have to do it when I was older. If I do then I would only choose to have it done at a tattoo parlor. I do not trust places that use a piercing gun. I've heard waaay too many horror stories about the gun getting stuck, the piercings not lining up, and infections since the gun can't really be cleaned well (and often they don't care)

I would get my daughter’s ears pierced when they are a baby because their earlobe is thinner and it won’t hurt them nearly as much as if they were to wait till they are older and have more developed and more nerves in their ear lobes.

I am a strong believer of the basic human right to deside what is to be done with ones own body. Any kind of body modification should only be done with the consent of the person who has the modification done. This is not possible with a baby, so any kind of curgical altering of the body or even something as small as ear pear should wait until adulthood. That is my opinion. Of course this would be a different matter if it is to treat an existing medical illness/condition, but piercing ears will not cure anything.

My parents got mine pierced before I was 1, as well as many people I grew up with. 
If I have a daughter she will get hers pierced at a young age as well. I don't see any problems with it.

I would never do that to a baby, I think it's horrible, personally, but everyone has their own opinions🤷 when a baby gets their ears pierced, not only does it require extra care, but it also heals very odd. I had mine done as a baby and I hated them when I grew up, didn't want them or the holes but they're there forever now. I would rather have my child choose when they can choose. Plus, most places people go for this (claire's for example) use unsanitary piercing guns which are very unsafe since they can't be sterelized. In addition to this, my piercings also ended up very uneven because a baby has to grow, your skin stretches when you grow and this can lead to uneven, unattractive looking piercing like I had. Just my opinion tho 💁if you wanna do it, I don't judge those who do because I understand its cute, but just personally am against the idea

NO! Wait until your child is old enough to choose. And DO NOT get it done with a piercing gun, they are unsanitary and dangerous. Go to a reputable piercer.
