What toys to get for a 11 week old?

My son is 11 weeks and he’s starting to swat at the toys on his playmat, but he isn’t grabbing anything just yet. I’ll put a rattle in his hand and make him shake it. He’ll hold it for a second and just drop it. What toys should I get him at this stage?

I have wrist rattlers ( Velcro on their wrists) and sock rattlers and she loves them!! She bats at toys but grasping like your little guy is just not their yet but she loves waving her arms and feet when I put those on.

My 11 week old is loving her playmat with dangling toys and a mirror.  She also loves her mobile.

The noggin stick is one of my favorite rattles. We got it with my first. With both my girls we use it for having them track the light with their eyes. The middle is thin and great for when they first start holding things. It’s expensive for a rattle. But totally worth it.
