My birth story 37w4d

So I was induced on Monday due to my blood pressure being high again. I got tested for preeclampsia 2 times and everything came back good. But the third time my midwife told me that she was going to induce me and to head over to the hospital! My baby boy Theodore was measuring full term as of Monday but my body was 37w 3D. So I was dilated to a 3 when she checked me at the midwifery and when I got to the hospital she checked me and I was at a 4 about 3 hours later. But this time she moved his head around a little and we realized my water had already broke on it’s own! I think it actually broke the day before on Easter but I couldn’t tell because he was sitting so low he corked everything from coming out! So as soon as she did that labor came quick!! I stuck out the contractions until I finally asked for my epidural! I got my epidural and has 5 seriously intense contractions while he was working but it went in good! When I was able to lay back down I realized only my left side was numbing and my right side I could still feel the contractions super good! So I got on the right side so gravity could do it thing and about 10-15 min later we decided to put my catheter, right after that my midwife checked me and she told me I was fully dilated and needed to start pushing!!! My body had dilated itself! I didn’t even have enough medicine for it actively start labor that quick I guess. I went from 4-10 in maybe 45 min!!! It was crazy!! I was pushing for 40 min and my little man came out!! I didn’t have rips at all everything went perfect!!! I had no idea my body was going to such a champion!! This is my first baby at age 27 and I feel like I’m still on an emotion high from everything!
