What do you do when your baby vomits?

Mi

My baby has silent reflux and she refuses the bottle. The doctor gave her gaviscon but she still vomits everyday if she drinks over 3oz.

Today she drank that extra 1oz and vomited it all up. Usually I give her thirty minutes and then try again, but today I wonder if she really did vomit all of the feed, or whether it was just part of it.

How do you know? It had coagulated bits in it, and there was lots. Would you count this as a whole feed and try again? Usually I’d take it easy but the doctor told us we must ensure she drinks at least 22oz a day and she’s 4 months, it’s difficult for her to even drink this without me really keeping on the ball with her feeds and ensuring she’s consistently drinking.

Feeding her is an experience in that I walk her around the house and sing to her, otherwise there is no interest.

I don’t know what to do, shall I count it as though I didn’t feed her at all?

Please help or share any advice you might have from experience thanks!
