Why are girl names so hard!

Question

Boy names are so much easier. We have a full name and other options for boys. 
I have a list of things I kind of like for girls but I second guess all of them!

I’m the opposite! Tons of acceptable options for girls but finding a boys name we both love is going to take the whole 9 months... thankfully I still have 6 more to decide!

I was the same way. We had a boys name - first & middle, but we’re kind of lost for a girls name. Pay attention to credits on movies, book authors, character names, or take part in some good old-fashioned people watching - you never know what names you might hear when you’re paying attention! Once you have a good list that you & your partner are happy with, try saying each name out loud - actually practice calling the baby each name on your list. That may eliminate some of the ones you’re wishy-washy about, and you may find that a name just “sounds right”. That’s what worked for us!

It was the opposite for us girl names were super easy boy names not so much. We had a girls name picked from with our first son and we’re going to use it if this baby was a girl but having our second boy and it took us a lot and I mean a lot to come up with what we’ve decided on.

I’m having a girl and now I have a whole list and can’t decide and thinking I’ll just wait until I meet her to choose.

Boys names are hardest for me. And I have two of them. My husband is also almost impossible, no name ever sounds right or has some kind of negative something attached to it 🙄
