I hope this is a big enough group to post this. I'm in Venice Florida and I'm desperately trying to find a decent daycare/childcare/pre-K facility for my 2 babies. My son is almost 3 and my daughter is 9 months. Every place I've called will cost around 2 grand a month which is nowhere near affordable for me! At the most we might be able to swing $1,000 a month for them. There is a girl that offered to watch them the 4 days a week/full days but she isn't licensed or has any experience plus has 3 young kids of her own and my kids are very high needs. I was supposed to meet with her but all her kids were sick. Makes me nervous cause I can't afford to miss work if my kids catch an illness all the time. I'm a stay at home Mom right now but so miserable and desperate to divorce and leave my husband and get out on my own again and get a job to save for my own place. This is so hard 😓😭Are there any programs Florida has to help out with childcare or any low cost daycares in my area?? These are my precious babies too so I could never take them to just anyone.
