Ugly baby?

Has anyone else experienced this? Don't get me wrong, I love my baby but I just think she is ugly! I guess I had expectations about what she would look like and she is nothing that I pictured. She is three weeks old and people are telling me she will change her looks completely as she grows but I can't help but feel guilty about not finding her cute at all... Please tell me I'm not alone with this.  
Also, I had a really hard pregnancy and had a hard time bonding.. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Okay I get you. I still thought my baby was adorable but she was so funny looking as a newborn! This is her at 3 weeks! Then she just kept getting cuter and cuter! She's 5 months old now and a total cutie pie! They change SO much the first couple months!! When my mom had my sister like 25 years ago the first thing she said was "Awww she's so ugly!!" Haha

I thought my son was gorgeous from the second he was born, and even more so now that he's a month old. But my mom has always openly said that she thought I was a really ugly baby and hoped I would get cuter. She said while I prettied up eventually, I was still her least attractive baby. Haha. My grandma said the same thing about one of my uncles too. It seems to be a common thought/fear.

My son was a premie so he was really weird looking at first. But now at a month old he is adorable.

I thought the same thing until I took her home. She's gorgeous to me 😍 she was just really small with big nose & eyes on her little head. But she's growing into it now 😁

It's totally normal! But if these feelings continue or get worse like you actually dislike your baby, get seen for postpartum depression!

Honestly, yes. I thought all 3 of my boys were gorgeous newborns, but I expected my daughter to have a full head of long baby hair and a beautiful baby face, but she was bald and I didn't think she was really even that cute, but by a month old she was cute and at 2 months, she was soooo pretty.   😀
