Im 15 years old and I talked to my mom and she said that she doesn't want me to get birth-control, but because I'm sexually active still going to go get it. Most times I have a difficult time taking pills so I wanted to get the implant, but it cost a lot of money and my mom is refusing to pay for any of it. if I go to Planned Parenthood would they give me the implant for free?

I got mine at planned parenthood and I am pretty sure they billed my insurance (its been 2 years) but it was free for me. I'd go in and ask them ans explain the situation you are in. They will support you.

I was able to get it at 17 without parental consent at a local women's clinic. I had a job so I paid $15/month. But that was for pills. Maybe you could look into Nuvaring? I used that for a long time and I liked that I didn't have to remember it every day. I didn't like that the Dr. would have to cut the implant out of my arm when it was time to come out.

Ok, here's the deal, I have PCOS my first period came at 9, I was formally diagnosed at 13 after my period had stopped for 10 months with me not being sexually active. My mother to this day accuses me of being a whore, I can assume it's because I went out of my way to find peer reviewed articles and journals to help my self better understand what was happening to me.

I don't know about the implant will they give it to you at 15 if they do go for it. But I'd take what ever planned parenthood gives you even if it's the pill
