Did you toddler sleep in a toddler bed?

I'm one proud Mama! My son has went straight from a crib to sleeping in a twin size bed before he turned 2 years of age. We bought a mesh rail for the bed and so far so good. He's been in it for over 2 months.

Straight to a twin bed for my daughter :) Worked out well, because we just transferred the crib to my new baby's room!

My 2 year old sleeps wonderfully in in his crib, 11-12 hrs every night with no wakings. He will stay in there for as long as possible lol

We transferred our son to a full size bed @18 months. He loved it. The mattress is on the floor (no box spring) and we have carpet so when he fell out of the bed, it's cushioned enough that he didn't even wake up. He's 2.5 now and still sleeps a solid 11-12 hrs.

My oldest did, but my youngest was a stinker. She ended up on a mattress on the floor first. Nothing would keep her in a crib or bed. We ended up just putting a baby gate on her doorway to keep her in her room until she would give up.

We got my daughter a twin bed shortly after she turned one. She would freak out when we put her in her crib, we mostly bed shared so I think she just really hated the crib walls. Once she had her bed she slept wonderfully and the bedtime freak outs completely stopped. Plus it gave me a spot to stack all her damn stuffies 😆

We switched my daughter to a toddler at 2.5, she did great with the transition. My son is a little over 2.5 and we plan on switching him this weekend. I'm nervous he won't stay in bed but it's time to switch him because he keeps trying to climb out of the crib and climbing up the side of it, I'm worried he will fall out or knock it over onto himself.

I personally wouldn't be putting my daughter in a twin size bed at that age. She'll be 2 next month and we honestly still have her in a crib since it's the safest place for her to be. We may be converting her crib to a toddler bed for her birthday, but she certainly won't be put in a twin size bed any time soon.
