My daughter is 16 months doesn’t say any words she does babble and make sounds. I speak English to her and my husband speaks Spanish her doctor said she should be saying something by 18 months but might not because because the different languages. Now I can honestly say I don’t constantly talk to her when I’m with her but I do talk and I try to read books to her. She isn’t pointing when she wants something and doesn’t make much eye contact I mean she will and does but she plays A LOT so we don’t just look at each other for me to notice if it’s a normal amount or not. She will bring things to me if I ask her to but that’s about it.she also does shake her head no. I had a cousin who didn’t walk or talk until he was 2 but he’s now perfectly fine and is on the same level as other children his age
