Identical or Fraternal?

This is an 8week photo of them I’m currently 12 weeks 5days but my high risk doctor says they are identical but my regular obgyn says there’s no way to tell. So I’m asking you guys which one do you guys think 🤔

Go with the high risk doctors opinion. You can absolutely tell if they are or are not

Do you know if they are mo/di or di/di? If they are mo/di then they are definitely identical.  Based on this image though,  I would lean towards di/di. Di/di twins can be both identical or fraternal, so unless the babies are different genders,  it is not possible to tell whether or not they are identical until after birth. I suspect this is what your OB was referring to.

I don’t think you can tell yet. If they share a placenta, definitely identical or b/g at anatomy scan, definitely fraternal. But, other than that, I think you will only know for sure after babies are born.
