Welcome Milayah’Amor 💜
My baby girl just couldn’t wait to meet mommy and daddy y’all lol Her due date was April 25,2019. I put In for maternity leave so my last day of work would be March 29,2019.( a little early but I was super tired, so I thought I’d use the time to rest and finish getting ready for babygirl) .... I THOUGHT WRONG ! Lol March 30,2019, Saturday morning, I wake up like a normal day. my fiancé went to get a hair cut, he bought us something to eat and we were just chilling. We kept joking about being ready for babygirl and my water breaking. Finally we go to take a nap and as I’m laying down I felt very uncomfortable. My contractions were in my back and I tried moving positions but they wouldn’t go away. It was much stronger than braxton Hicks and they didn’t let up. Again I fixed the pillows and tried laying down but the pain just kept coming closer together. So I went to take a warm shower to try and relax the pain away. After the shower I decided it was time to pack a bag(something I planned on doing within those 4 weeks lol) I called my mom and she told me to time the contractions and that I should probably go to the hospital. So I woke my fiancé up and we went straight to the hospital. Turns out I was only 1cm dilated. They thought maybe I was dehydrated so they hooked me up to an IV and gave me lots of water. They monitored my contractions and baby’s heartbeat in hopes of sending me home. They noticed her heart rate was decreasing and decided to keep me 24hrs. Because she was 36weeks they gave me a steroid shot that’s supposed to help her lungs Incase they would have to induce me. Now I’m on the delivery floor, still in pain(which I felt was getting worse) and literally 30 mins later, the nurses came rushing in the room to tell me we have to do an emergency c section because babygirl’s heart rate wasn’t getting better. Now I’m nervous. Of course I’m ready for my baby to come but not this way, not now lol so I get transferred to the OR, they start giving me the epidural, and the anesthesiologist doesn’t know what she’s doing because it was done twice and I felt every part of the needle going in my spine 😩😩 As my c-section is being performed, I felt every pull and tug and suction. I was yelling at the top of my lungs, the nurses tried calming me down, my fiancé said I was cursing them out and the doctor said “somebody put her to sleep please” lmao so I ended up getting put to sleep but as the mask is on my face, I hear a doctor say “Time 8:33” and I hear my daughter’s first cry. I try saying her name but am quickly put to sleep. My baby girl was born March 30,2019 at 8:33pm 5pounds 3 ounces and as healthy as ever💜💜 she is now 4 weeks, will be 1 month on April 30th(7pounds 8 ounces) and i am so glad she came when she did because She gave me more time to love her and spoil her.
