How long can a formula fed baby go without pooping?

How long can a formula fed baby go without pooping? We are on day 2 of our little one not pooping. Little one is happy as can be and doesn't seem uncomfortable or in pain. Still having plenty of wet diapers. Wondering how many days I should wait before calling the pediatrician.

They say 3 days is when you should start considering a natural laxative like pear juice or prune juice. My twins would always go on the third day just as I would get ready to break out the juice. I’ve only had to give one of them a little prune juice once and they are 7 months old.

My pediatrician told me my LO could go up to 3 or 4 days without pooping. Unfortunately she also had really bad gas and reflux. Once we found the right formula (Gerber Soothe) she now poops once a day pretty regularly.
