How do you get your dr to put you on clomid or metformin? Did you just simply ask or is it a procees? How did you do it?

Mine gave it to me after we ttc for over a year and had us do fertility testing as well

It was simple for me, I basically just asked for it; however, my medical history with my ex husband didn't show promising when we were trying so. I've had issues with ovarian cysts, Doctor's thought I had PCOS, my hormones were not exactly normal either so it just really depends on your past medical history. I would just ask your OB/GYN.

Usually your doctor wants to look at your medical history and how long you have been TTC.

I have PCOS and just got cleared for the metformin, been TTC for 7mo.

Most Drs want you to try for at least a 8-12 months before they will give it. My first visit to the OB id been trying for almost a year and he prescribed metformin.
