Breastfeeding storage question
So I’m reading all these rules on how many hours breastmilk can be stored in room temp, fridge, freezer etc and it can get quite confusing.
The source i have says store at room temp for 4hours and fridge for up to 4 days. But when warmed, then within 1-2h.
What if I pump and put it in the fridge because I might need it later on that day. And then I take it out and put it in diaper bag a few hours later. Do I now have to use it within 1-2h since it’s warming to room temp? Or I now have the 4h window at room temp?
I want to know if I know I’ll be using it later should I just keep it out so that I have a full 4h? But one would think that keeping it in fridge is better until I need to go out.
So confused
