Hi everyone! I live with my grandma and want to move out with my bf. Her and I argue all the time , like just the other Day she wanted to use my paystubs to try to get help at social services before we are evicted for not paying the rent. She had money to pay the rent. She gets a $700 check every 2 weeks and she knows the rent is due . We already have a court date coming up. I tried to tell her, she chose to put the checks towards bounced checks in her bank account so therefore the rent still hasn’t gotten paid. I told her I wanted to move out before with my girlfriend who I’ve known since high school , and she got all mad and said “if you move out, don’t ever try to come back” I don’t know why she said that because I’m not going to be living here for a long time and I already told her this. When I wanted to live with my friend, she got mad and said all this mean stuff about my friend like anything other than being here would make me happy. I’m 20 years old , I’m old enough to rent an apartment with my bf and we split half of the rent. What do you guys think?
