So i was put walking with my son liam around the park i felt a stabbing pain (i was only 39+5) i walked back home and told hubby to finish work now i think bub is coming (now i was dignosed with placenta preva) i was so scared i rang the hospital and told them i drove myself down there with my sone a few more contractions happened i got to the hospital they had to do an emergency ultrasound to see if i can go natural well i could the placenta moved 2cm away from my cervix. They checked me out and said your 4cm you cant go home tou have to stay here so the rest of my family came down we had a hot chocolate and dinner at the hospital i has another contraction but it was harder than the others we went back up and they checkes me i was 6cm they put me into a birthing room (seeing all those tiny cribs aaww) an hour went past and nothing now contractions nothing bub was in distress they put an iv in with oxytocin to get things going again and they had to break my waters i walked into the shower and then i neededto push she said wait you need to be checked they checked me and i was 9cm they tried rubbing the cervix to move to completely to 10cm i pushed and i felt a pop the doctors were on standby bub started crowning bub his heart rate was slowing the doctors kept telling me to push harder i was exhausted but i had to do it i pushed and pushed until his sholuder got stuck they had to push bub back to free his sholuder well after 8hrs he was finally born he had jaundice so had to be under the uv light for a few days he weighed 8lb5oz 52cm long he is now 2yrs old
