Carpet or not, I wouldn’t waste my money on one. They can be unsafe, can cause hip problems, and don’t help babies walk any earlier. Babies develop best just being left to play on the floor

Usually although there’s research that says not to use them. I did with my daughter and her hips are fine but they’re illegal in a lot of countries because of them causing issues with children’s hips
