Starting the gym: advice and tips please?!?
Hello glow community.
I didn’t have a very fun night last night. My boyfriend and I sat down to talk about how I want to lose weight and start going to the gym. I was ashamed about how much weight I’ve gained since we started dating and I really want to be the best version of myself, for myself.
I came up with a workable exercise and diet regimen. I was wondering if maybe I could get some input!
I will be working with a personal trainer twice a week for a month to learn how to work out properly. I plan to go to the gym for an hour 5 times a week in the morning, and I have a diet plan that consists of weighed and counted meals (chicken breast, rice, vegetables, soups, beef once every 2 weeks, and the like) that alternates every 2 weeks so I don’t get too bored and discouraged with meals. Researched healthier snacks (fruits veggies nuts in moderation) and cutting out junky food and excess sugars.
Is this a good way to start? Do you think this could work in the long run?
Any pointers would be so so appreciated so I can better my health!!!
