Cramping- ovulation?

I was supposed to ovulate yesterday. I had a smiley face on the digital test the morning before. I am cramping a pretty good bit today. Is that normal?

Yes. I always get cramps during ovulation, that's how I know I'm ovulating.

It is. Just because you get the smiley face does not mean you’re ovulating that day. It means that within 12-36 hours you will ovulate since you are having those side cramps then that’s an indication that you are ovulating.
