How do you go to pee with long dress?

I know it's a stupid question.. But I'm wearing a long dress on prom so I'm wondering

Pull it up just like any other dress

With my wedding dress, it was big and poofy and the back was long and heavy. I straddled the toilet backwards because it was easier to lift the front than the back. Not sure if that is helpful. Otherwise just lift it like a regular dress if it is not big and fluffy with a long train.
