Yes it's normal. You guys haven't been dating long so feeling crazy about him is normal but be aware that the honeymoon phase doesn't last forever.  Yes I love and I'm attracted to my SO but it's not the wild animalistic attraction like it was the first 1 1/2 years.  Just know that if it gets less intense that's okay too.
