Nasty husband

Okay so my best friend texted me and said that “she just found poop on her husbands towel should she confront him or no?” she asked me for advice but I wanted to get a second opinion first.

Background: he only showers about twice a week, she has found poop in his boxers before, she said that his shower rags leave a stench even after he’s done showering. Growing up his family had no running water so he essentially pooped in a bucket and never took showers...

I have previously told her that she needs to bring it to his attention. Which she did and he started doing better with his hygiene but now it has started again. Tips on what to say?
