WHAT SHOULD I DO!?

My daughter is turning 1 year on Wednesday and she’s refusing to go to bed and she would rather stay up and watch cartoons she just started this recently. What should I do?

Tough love. Absolutely no TV. The first few nights might be hard, but get through them and hold your ground. She will get it eventually. Dependence on TV at night is a HORRIBLE habit and it's best to nip it in the butt now. YOURE the mom. What you say, goes. No negotiations, no exceptions.

Definitely no more tv. But once they get to be around the age of one they're having separation issues and they are wanting momma basically and not wanting to go to bed. 
What helped our little girl was buying this little elephant toy that projected stars on to the ceiling and played music. Works every time.

Maybe try sitting with her and look at a book instead. We don't have TV at out house but we do watch movies. At bed time I usually turn off the movie before we do our bedtime stuff. We change, brush teeth, say good night to the big kids then head to our room. Do you guys have a bed time routine? We do the same things every night, and we do baths every other night.

I would say no more TV, especially before bed. We have a bedtime routine (jammies, story time, lullabies, and then he goes into his bed).

Every thing in my house gets shut off at 10 pm every night for that very reason. My oldest whines for a bit but goes to bed pretty good since she knows it’s not coming back on till 5am
