Is it possible to get a false positive for ovulation test?

ovulation test?" /> I took ovulation test twice yesterday (last night and morning) and it was O so low fertility. I took it again this morning and it showed a smiley face which is high fertile. The test doesn't have flashing smiley face, just O or solid smiley face. I'm confused because I checked my CM and it's just watery, but not stretchy. And my boobs aren't sore at all... If you could please drop a comment an let me know your opinion!  😁

I never got ewcm. I had to use preseed. Used the same type of ovulation tests and I'm 24 weeks pregnant with a baby girl!

Using FMU could give you false results, as LH is synthesized in the morning and isn't concentrated until the afternoon. I don't check CM because I've found that it doesn't necessarily always correlate with what the ovulation tests indicate. Just BD for the next few days, regardless.

Mine did that went negative, next day peak,  and the day after back to negative and I got pregnant that month.

I have had false positivs twice with those double hormone indicator's ! I'd invest in the regular ones because the purple ones sometimes smudge wich the test reads as positive
