Back to Back Femara Cycles

Does anybody have any experience with back to back Femara cycles?

I started with 2.5mg, 2 week lab showed I was anovulatory with it, so started 5mg. Finished my last pill on a Friday and started bleeding Saturday. Sorry TMI, but it’s too heavy and red to be considered spotting. which makes me wonder if this is my period...? How do I track ovulation? Should I even bother tracking anything if I’m still bleeding...? Sigh...I’m not sure if the typical Femara induced ovulation is applicable in my current situation.
