Pregnant on the pill ?🤔🤔😐😐😮😮😕😕

Sooo ladies who HAVE gotten pregnant on the pill, or just know the answer.. I’m a little confused how that happens & so far, no one has been able to answer my question.. so if you miss (one) pill ? Or more.. say like 2-3.. are you protected or not? Because they say supposedly you’re still covered when you’re taking the placebo fake pills on your period week, and they say you’re still covered if you miss 1 pill... but I don’t understand, if it stops you from ovulating, and you miss 1, how do you end up pregnant so quickly? Or how does someone end up pregnant even if they DON’T miss any pills ??

I’m not on any BC by the way, just confused about this subject & would really like to understand it, I’m considering my options for BC and I’m leaning towards the pill. Thanks! 💗💗
