Baby boy is 2 weeks old and I live in NJ. There are alot of cases if measles in the state. Not in my county but I'm still just super worried about him getting sick. We took him to the doctor (poop issues, he's fine) but then my neighbor saw us coming back in the house and congratulated us on the new guy. She walked over to see the baby then TOUCHED HIS FACE WITH HER FINGER! I almost died. I wanted to scream at her but her and her husband are older and really usually rude until recently. I'm so worried about him in public but I really need to go to target and I'm not ready to not have him with me.

When will you ladies be taking your babies out in public and where do you live? Is there any worry of illness like measles near you? Do you think 6 weeks is too early to take him out of the state for Memorial day weekend? (Just for a day)
