Painting?

I am in the middle of renovation my house, mostly my kitchen and bathroom. I have SOOO much painting to do, and I enjoy painting, it’s my stress reliever. Can I still paint? Should I wear a mask? I live in northern Canada where we still currently have a pretty solid layer of snow so I can’t do it outside

They make paint that is “safer” for pregnancy. I painted our deck with our first baby and wore a mask the entire time. Same with her room.

I’d get a low VOC paint and/or get a mask. We’re getting ready to buy/repaint a house too so I got a 3M respirator off Amazon.

I believe painting is generally quite safe, but was told to stick to the lower/no VOC paints if possible as that is better. I’m in the middle of renovating things as well and will be doing much more than painting!
