Chores for October baby?

Washing the car right? 🚙🚙 Haha no but I’ve been looking for ideas to involve her in helping out more. She loves to help put things in and take out of the dryer. I’ll let her hand me dishes and bowels out of the dishwasher. And of course we work on putting toys away together. Any other ideas?

Putting her own plate in the sink after meals, throwing away her own trash. Spot cleaning with a spray bottle and towel (the floor, the lower half of windows or doors). Dusting with a baby wipe.

I let my son help bring groceries in the house. He takes it so seriously too and won't let anyone help him carry his bag.

My son loves to help me clean! I give him an extra cloth and he happily dusts along with me! He also likes to vacuum and sweep. I’m thinking in a few years I can retire from the house work 😂

Just a comment. I love when my daughter says, "big helper, mom?" I always tell her, "yes baby, your such a great big helper!"

Mine puts groceries away (in the pantry only, she can’t open the fridge yet), helps me check the mail, feeds our dogs herself, and puts her own dirty clothes away 🤷🏻‍♀️

My sons helps with feeding our dog. We also say you mess it up, you clean it up. So he is always asking for a paper towel to clean up. He spills etc. a lot. 🙂

My son loves washing the car! He has his own sponge and we do it together! He helps do all the cleaning and cries if I don’t let him help! He loves dusting and sweeping! He helps with every aspect of daily chores. Putting clothes in the washing machine and even turns it on! See what you little one likes and let them help as much as!

My daughter helps sort the laundry when it’s all dry into mom, dad and Alli piles while I fold. She likes helping bag the vegetables at the grocery store and put them in the cart. She puts her dishes in the sink and in her drawer when they are done being washed. She enjoys swiffering and wiping down the kitchen table. 
Now that it’s spring she helps me in my garden too with pulling weeds and watering the plants.

My daughter likes to match the socks when I do laundry. She also clears her own plate from the table.

If my daughter spills something she has to wipe it up (within reason). I generally let her put her dishes in the sink, trash in the trash can, and wipe up her spot at the table. Other than picking up after herself I don't have her do much. Sometimes she helps with laundry in the dryer or putting recycling in the bins outside. We pick up sticks and pinecones from the yard. But none of this is really a chore because it's only when she wants to help. She's too little in my mind to deal with cleaning supplies or breakable dishes. Right now her job is to play and explore and learn manners so I'm not focused on chores quite yet. She is a fantastic helper though!
