Should you always use first morning urine?

When can you take a pregnancy test without using fmu? Should I just use fmu until after my missed period? How accurate would it be?

Got positive with my now 4 year old and I’m currently 19 weeks both in the afternoon

When I took my pregnancy tests it was in the evening due to being at work early. 
The first was after holding for a couple of hours. The second (bottom test) was after drinking a pint of water immediately after so I could retest at hubby’s request. As you can see, both were clear positives, even with extremely diluted urine. So, in my experience, it doesn’t need to be fmu but maybe the lines would have been even darker if I’d of waited 🤷🏻‍♀️

Both taken at 14 DPO (3 days late).

HCG levels are the highest with FMU. That’s because it’s not diluted by what you’ve been drinking throughout the day. If you don’t want to test with FMU the next best is on a 2 hour hold I believe. You can get a false negative if you test later in the day very early in pregnancy.
