Shows comments but nothing's there?

So I've seen on some of the postings there's comments but it doesn't show anything. 
Does that mean it's people who've I muted?

It could be people you’ve muted. It could also be people that have muted you. I’ve also noticed though, sometimes it’s a glitch in the app because I’ll close out the app and then I’ll go back and I’m able to see all the comments.

I’ve only muted 1 person so it could be. But it has happened to me before I even muted them.

Oh probably have age limits set and it won’t actually show comments for people who aren’t within your age preferences

Either people you have muted or people who have muted you. It also could be a glitch. These apps are constantly glitching
