I thought that you can't have your period when you are breastfeeding. Sorry if is stupid the question I'm first Time mom.

That’s completely normal. Breastfeeding doesn’t always stop you from having periods.

Some women get their periods, some don't. It's also normal to have one and then be irregular until baby is weaned. Just use protection or take tests if you're worried.

Had it at 8w pp with my first and 6w pp with second. Its completely normal

I got my cycle back 6.5 weeks PP. it wasn’t regular until 7 months PP though. Then I got pregnant at 11 months PP. all while breastfeeding on demand. 🤷‍♀️

I got a period about 6 weeks to 2 months after my baby and then not again until 6 months when she stopped eating as frequently. After that it was back consistently.
