My baby was born 5 days ago after a very quick and intense labour, which ended up in a second degree tear and an episiotomy. I had the midwifes check on my stitches a couple of times since then, but I have the impression the pain is only getting stronger and I’m finding it really hard to cope with it as I can’t sit down or walk/stand too much. Does anyone have a similar experience? How long does it take to heal? Did your vagina go back to normal after?
