Dreams don’t mean anything right?

Question

I woke up this morning from the most vivid, most horrible dream about losing my baby. I’m almost 18 weeks and I’m terrified now because I’ve never had a dream that felt so real. I just keep reliving it over and over in my head and I never went back to sleep so I didn’t sleep much and I don’t know how I’m going to get through my day 😫
My husband told me “it was just a bad dream” but now I’m so so so scared😢😢😢

I had a dream I gave birth to a cat when I was pregnant with my second. I'm pleased to report, I gave birth to a human child. 
Seriously though, I understand why you feel shaken. I've had horrible dreams related to my husband and kids, it does shake you up, but rest assured it means nothing.

I had the worst nightmare last night too!! I woke up from it and when I fell asleep-it continued!!😫 then I woke up again from it I decided to get up and go potty..even though I didnt have too! I cant wait to hit the pillow tonight!!

girl, i had a dream just like it and it was so graphic and disturbing... i worry for a couple weeks after that until i got some reassurance that my dreams will be very vivid during pregnancy. i was thinking so negative.. i had to say positive things throughout my day, like “baby is healthy.” — “none of my dreams really came true before.” & or i would just remind myself that i was worrying to much and baby was okay!

Dreams mean nothing! I had several dreams about losing my baby but everything has went smoothly so far. I also had horrible dreams about my animals dying, husband cheating, etc. Pregnancy does weird things 😂 in all truth though, I even mentioned it to my doctor. She said the vivid dreams come as a symptom of pregnancy just as morning sickness does. It is mainly due to hormones and there is no connection between what happens in your dreams and what happens in your life
