Natural in hospital

🌌Kelsi🌌
I know all states, areas, and hospitals are different, but I was wondering how anyone's experience achieving a natural birth in a hospital has been. Do most let you move around, refuse IV, use shower for pain relief, not make you feel rushed or push meds on you? I love my obgyn, and her office has midwives on staff so I don't know if I want to move to a birth center. And the closest one to me is about an hour away with good traffic anyway...hospital is two streets over lol. I just hit 13 weeks so plenty of time to go. I'm also not sure when to mention what I am hoping for with my doctor since I'm barely ending first trimester. Any advice, stories, ANYTHING will help me! Everyone I know has gone the "traditional" route and never asked questions, just did as told.
