How is potty training going??

My son is doing quite well, I think... he uses diapers for sleeping times and has maybe 1 accident per week... how are yall doing and feeling about the process? Any tips for overnight potty training?

My son was fully trained a month before he turned two. Once we went to underwear that was It.  No pull ups no diapers over night.

Not there yet - we are working on sleep, and don’t want to overwhelm him. I waited until almost 3 with my first, and he was so ready so it only took about a day or two and he was accident free. I’m hoping for the same with this one when we get to it!

My daughter has been fully trained (day and night) for about 3 months now. She had been waking up dry though since she was about 18 months so that wasn’t a problem for us. We got her potty trained in about a week with only 1 accident (the first day she wore only panties to preschool). I wasn’t brave enough to do the naked method as we have a lot of carpet and an infant crawling around as well LOL so we did the panties on top of a diaper and told her if she got *insert character name here* wet, they would be very sad and cry. And it totally worked lol. After a few days of dry diaper underneath panties we removed the diaper completely and never looked back. I will add that we started trying right after her second birthday but she wasn’t ready and it showed, it did however spark her interest in the potty though so although we put full training on hold for the months following, we did continue to put her on every morning (because as I said she woke up dry every morning) and she would go successfully. I don’t have any tips for pooping, which I know a lot of kids struggle with, because she is a pro at that lol. Also we didn’t really use incentives as I found it to be kind of a hassle especially in a time crunch lol. Luckily she didn’t care either way and praise and a quick dance sesh was all her little heart desired lol! Good luck and happy training mama’s

Our boy was toilet trained in December last year, but still needs nappies for sleeps now - I'm not sure there is anything you can do at this age to train them into overnight dryness, I think it's just something that comes with time!
Just having no daytime nappies is SO much better...
