Depending on if you work to help support your family or if it’s extra cash, look into nannying. Then you can take your baby with you! I had my babe in Feb and started back to work last month and get to bring her everyday!

Talk to your spouse. With my first I was having a real difficult time leaving my baby behind, especially since he was 6 weeks premie. For the first couple of days, my husband took off work and brought the baby to me to snuggle with during my lunch break. It was incredibly helpful so it didn’t feel like I was leaving baby cold turkey.

This really breaks my heart. I couldn’t imagine leaving my baby right now. I’m in Canada and feel so lucky to have 12-18 months paid leave. I wish the states would get with it and support new mothers better. I’m so sorry 😢 I’d also recommend leaving something like a shirt you have worn so that your baby is also comforted ♥️
