We decided to skip cereal and go straight for the veggies instead. She will get some oatmeal with fruit for breakfast later on once we start replacing the breakfast bottle

Yes oatmeal with banana everynight and small tastes of things like yogurt and mashed potatoes at times. We use a spoon and his cereal is thick like batter

Nope. There is no benefits with it we’re doing oatmeal and steamed veggies when she’s 6 months and her gut is ready. I didn’t know ped are still recommending it.

Hey! We are going to be starting soon. Our pediatrician said to start with a single grain cereal for three to four days, and that breast milk is still the primary food but we are teaching her how to eat by slowly introducing these Foods. Obviously it's barely thicker than breastmilk at this point when we try it, I think I'm going to try this weekend. He also said that it might take a long time before she's actually eating it and it might just be more of a lesson and spitting things out LOL

That and yogurt, very rarely a crumb of ice cream. She loves getting jealous of us eating. She also attacks the spoon

Yes but she’s not a big fan lol. We do it once in awhile with a spoon and mix it with breast milk and I think she enjoys getting to try it
