My 8 week old baby refuses to sleep by herself. We will take turns putting her on our chests when she wakes up in the middle of the night, & we try to lay her back down once she’s asleep, but she wakes up immediately crying. So we’ve basically been co sleeping with her on our chests. Shes my first baby & I’m still learning. I just hate hearing her cry it breaks my heart. I love co sleeping but I’m anxious the whole night she will stop breathing. Advice on how to get her to sleep on her own? I’m not open to the cry it out method.
