Throwing up blood?

Question

I throw up every single day, I’m 8+4. 
Today it was pretty violent and I had streaks of blood after I was done throwing up (no blood in the actual vomit). 
When I drink water now I can feel discomfort in my throat and I need to know if I should go to the hospital or if this is something that will cure itself. 
I’m just sick. as. hell. 
Someone help ease my mind.

Nurse told me to drink ginger tea first thing in the morning, and if I throw up again (with blood) to go to the walk in. 
I guess since I am able to keep food down, and it was just a little bit of blood I’m okay. She really didn’t seem too worried. 
Even though I still am. Literally sobbing, like this shit sucks. Kudos to every woman ever who had to go through this shit. I feel like my hubby feels like I’m over reacting but I just want everything to be okay, and for the love of god, I just want to stop puking.

It sounds as though the acid may have cut your throat a bit. For the most part as long as you do not continue to see more blood and don’t continue throwing up you should be okay. I would call your regular doctor to get it checked though

You probably tore something in your throat from throwing up. It’s happened to me before

Go to ER the acid is eating your throat up you may have ruptured something as well Go go go now!!! Salt water in vinegar will toughen your throat as well

Have you gone to your doctor about it? I would ASAP

Go to the doctor.  I had to be put on 3 different meds to help stop the puking and heal the stomach damage I had (ruptured vessels).
