Late birth story

Went in for induction at 4pm. After an hour of monitoring, they checked me and i was 2cm and he was at a -2 station, so they put the cervidil in only to remove it an hour later as it was causing hyperstimulation.

I was moved to the ward until 6:30am the next morning where they moved me back into the birth suite and checked me, i was still 2cm and almost completely thinned out and he was still at a -2 station out so they broke my waters and the syntocin drip was started. I was on gas and air until around 12pm when i asked for the epidural which ended up failing after half an hour and pooling out of my back. Second epidural was placed about 2 hours later and this one lasted an hour before suddenly wearing off with my next contraction. They did 2 lactates (basically shoved a knife up my vag to make a small cut on babys head to check his oxygen levels. He had 4 small cuts as the second time the doctor kept fucking up and someone else had to do it) as his heart rate was low and he was in distress. I was meant to go for a c section at 6pm but they decided he wasn't distressed enough. The first lactate was done around 12pm and the second around 5pm. They kept putting different drugs through my epidural as it had failed and none of them worked at all. I couldn't be given anything else through the epidural without them sending me toxic and killing me. 11pm they checked me and i was fully dilated but baby was still at a -2 station and they told me to start pushing (i never felt the urge to push). Around 1:30am, two and a half hours later of horrific pain of him trying to get past my pubic and tail bone (most of which i spent screaming, crying and begging for a c section because i knew he wasn't going to come out 🙄 joys of a small pelvis) and his oxygen and heart rate still dropping, he was still at a -2 station and i was finally taken for my emergency c section. Was terrified the spinal wouldn't work since the epidurals failed but it worked perfectly. After 20 hours of labour, 2 failed epidurals and pretty much 20 hours on gas and air and finally a c section, he was born at 2:02am on the 1st of November.
