What to wear during labor & delivery

Might be a totally dumb question but I’m packing my bag and I just thought of this. Do you just wear hospital gowns? What if it’s cold? I read you don’t want anything that is annoying for belly monitors etc.

I’m just going with the hospital gown during delivery then I’ll put on some of my comfy clothes after I’m able to shower. Just because I’ve seen a lot of moms say that it does get messy! 😄 So I don’t wanna spend money on something I’m going to ruin or ruin my own stuff 🤷🏻‍♀️

The hospital gown with a nursing bra underneath it until push time and then take the bra off so I can do skin to skin without a bra. It gets messy so those gowns people buy are better to wear after baby because they will more than likely get ruined

Hospital gown and slipper socks for labor and delivery and a nursing nightgown and robe for after I get cleaned up. You can ask them to adjust the temp or provide sheets/blankets for you if you get cold.

I will wear the hospital gown because there is soooo much blood!  But afterward, pj pants and a nursing cammi. I have a robe for if I am cold.

I would plan on hospital gown for labor, and a robe/nursing bra tank for after. I was super hot when in the hospital. They keep the room temp up for the baby.

I'm gonna wear the hospital gowns the whole time. My hospital has normal and breastfeeding gowns as well as robes if it does get cold. The rooms at my hospital also have their own thermometers so I can adjust the temperature when I want to.

Hospital gown until after delivery! So many cervix checks my last time and other monitoring + need to have open back for epidural that it made sense. After delivery = comfy pj pants nursing top & robe

I wore a hospital gown with my first, and my second I just wore my yoga pants until I got in the shower, and then I was butt naked the rest of the time. I definitely wasn’t cold.

Hospital gown. Some places will require you to wear it. After my son was born and I showered, I just wore a black robe with comfy nursing bras and granny panties until it was time to go home.
