Cradle cap?

It’s only on the front of his head as far as I can tell. We shampoo his hair every other night. Is that too often? How do I help it?

I use baby oil and a comb or brush. Then wash it was with baby soap. It may be a little red but he doesn’t cry so I know it’s not bothering him. I’ve only had to do it once since he was born and it hasn’t came back.

Looks like my baby’s cradle cap! I massage coconut oil in and let it sit for 20 minutes then shampoo. It goes away but always comes back 🤦🏼‍♀️ not sure what to try next

This may be gross but I gently picked it off while she was napping, washed her hair and now it’s all gone.  She has so much hair that oils would just be messy.

My baby had this. It went when we stopped washing his hair as much. I bath him every other day and wash his hair every other bath. So there’s 4 days between each wash. I apply coconut oil on his scalp/ body too and within 2 weeks it has completely gone.

I wash my babies hair everyday with soap and he doesn’t have it my first had a small patch and his was washed everyday.I do use a brush by fridababy that I think helps

Dealing with this right now. I was doing coconut oil every 3 nights a few hours before bath and brushing his head with a soft brush. Last night I used olive oil and it worked so much better.

My daughter had it, like another poster I gave her a bath and then picked it off. She had it from her forehead to her crown. For the most part it’s gone now but there is a few little patches left.

Ugh we are in the cradle cap dilemma too. We’ve been trying it all. Pediatrician recommended selsun blue, it somewhat helped temporarily. We are now trying babyganics cradle cap oil, a little helped. We use the Frieda brush too and it took away a lot of the flakes but not completely. My poor baby is so dry and flaky and I’m lost on what to try next.
