Something similar happened to me when I told my fathers side of the family our sons name.......

So we came to love the name Peyton years ago and just came up with the middle name of Levi...... oh and my family is upset the baby isnt getting my maiden name.......even though I'm married! Anyways so when I say the first name is Peyton they all said it with an "ewwwww" type of face and said his name with a gross question type of tone like "what's that smell... onions?" And then when we said Levi they said "like the Jeans?" And my grandfather says "why are you giving him such a white boy name?" And my father goes " you just trying to give him a good resume name to get him in the door". I never knew how racist my family is, it makes me sick. They probably will come up with some crazy nicknames to call him so yeah. 😕
