IUI #1 failed - advice wanted

Just had my first IUI and found out that it was not successful.

My doc doesn’t want to give me provera to start another cycle bc I should start on my own..

I’m now on day 38, and I’ve never been more ready for a period to come! I’m ready to move onto IUI #2!

I called my doc and they suggested that I come in for an ultrasound and bloodwork to see why I haven’t started.

Has anyone ever done this?

I just hate to pay out of pocket for the appt to have the doc say “now we just wait some more”
