IUD weight gain???

Is this a thing??? I gained 50lbs while pregnant, I’m 5w pp and Ive lost 45... I REALLY don’t want to gain any of that back 😭 I’m still exclusively pumping and I get my IUD on Monday... please tell me your experiences!!!

I gain 20kg in 2 months after getting mirena. I was able to lose 10kg by a strict diet, but i couldn't move the rest . Then after about 6 months my body started to adjust to ther hormones and I was able to slowly start losing the rest of the weight. 
I love that it is set and forget birth control,  and it is really reliable, but the weight gain was hard too deal with. But every person reacts differently, you may get no problems.

I know myself and 2 other people personally who had Mirena. We have all gained weight.  I personally gained 40 pounds in the year I had it. I also felt like my mental state was not as clear as it was prior to having Mirena. I got it taken our on 12/26.  I didn't get a period until May. (Many years ago) Only because I took provera to jump start it.  This is just my experience, I believe the IUD is a good form of birth control, if just didn't work for me.
